Booking Guarantee & Cancellation Policies

Our Booking Guarantee

We want you to book with confidence when reserving our Cayssalie Forest Retreat. That's why we offer these guarantees:

  • Accuracy Guarantee: All property descriptions and photos accurately represent our holiday let. What you see is what you get.

  • Cleanliness Promise: The entire property will be professionally cleaned and sanitised before your arrival.

  • No Hidden Fees: The price you're quoted includes all cleaning fees, linen changes, and normal utility usage.

  • Personal Support: Direct communication with us (the owners) before and during your stay for any questions or assistance.

  • Privacy Assurance: The entire property (both buildings and courtyard) is exclusively yours during your stay.

Reservation & Payment Terms

  • Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit.

  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due 45 days before your arrival date.

  • Security Deposit: €300 security deposit required (refundable within 7 days after departure, subject to inspection).

  • Booking Methods: Reserve directly through us via email..

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy aims to be fair while protecting both parties:

For bookings made directly with us:

  • More than 45 days before arrival: Loss of deposit only (25% of total booking)

  • 44-30 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking cost

  • 29-15 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking cost

  • 14 days or less before arrival: No refund possible

Special Circumstances:

  • COVID-19 Related Cancellations: If government restrictions prevent your travel to France, we offer rebooking for alternative dates within 18 months at no additional cost.

  • Force Majeure: In case of extraordinary circumstances outside our control that render the property uninhabitable, we will provide a full refund.

Recommendations:

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage to protect against unexpected events.

Early Departure Policy

No refunds will be provided for early departure once your stay has commenced.

Booking Changes

  • Date Changes: Subject to availability and may incur additional costs if moving to a higher-rate period.

  • Guest Number Changes: Please inform us of any changes to the number of guests staying at the property.

Minimum Stay Requirements

  • Peak Season (June-August): 7-night minimum stay, Saturday to Saturday

  • Mid Season (April-May, September-October): 4-night minimum stay

  • Low Season (November-March): 3-night minimum stay
